Before you arrive

Still unsure what to bring? We are happy to explain our process, but we cannot provide legal advice or select the notarial act for you.

Ask a question
What identification should I bring?

Bring a current, acceptable government-issued photo ID unless another lawful identification method has been arranged in advance.

Should I sign my document before the appointment?

Usually, wait. Some notarial acts require signing in the notary's presence. If you are unsure, leave the signature line blank and follow the document recipient's instructions.

How are mobile appointments priced?

Your quote separates notarial acts from travel and convenience charges. Salt Lake City mobile service starts at $25, with the exact amount confirmed before dispatch.

Can a notary tell me which certificate I need?

No. A notary cannot choose the notarial act or provide legal, tax, or immigration advice. The signer or document recipient must identify the required act.
